Bio

Max Krien (b. 2000, Santa Fe NM) is a composer and sound artist based in Portland, OR. His exploratory practice seeks to reveal hidden ecologies of human and non-human actors through sound, subversive technologies, and traditions of repair. He holds a BA from Lewis & Clark College in Music Composition & Computer Science and has presented work across the US and Mexico. He currently serves as Adjunct Professor of Music Technology at Portland Community College.
